Peer Mediation

Peer mediation is a conflict resolution process in which trained students help their peers resolve disputes and conflicts. Saving valuable staff time taken up trying to resolve the high frequency, low impact issues.

Implementing peer mediation in schools is a proactive approach to promoting a positive school environment, empowering students, and teaching them essential life skills that will serve them and their peers well in their personal and professional lives. We are actively registered with the Civil Mediation Council to deliver Peer Mediation Training.

Benefits of implementing peer mediation services in schools:

  • Conflict Resolution Skills

  • Reduction in Bullying

  • Improved Communication

  • Positive School Climate

  • Lower Suspension and Disciplinary Actions

  • Teacher Time Savings

  • Training in Empathy

  • Conflict Prevention

  • Long-Term Resolution

  • Inclusivity

We work with schools across the country to implement and embed peer mediation strategies. This includes delivering training and engagement sessions for staff as well as students.

Peer Mediation Accreditation

We are extremely passionate about the benefits of Peer Mediation not just for the pupils, but for the school culture and values. A lot of children only experience one conflict style in their life and therefore need help to broaden their emotional literacy. Enabling them to grow and make choices using the learned skills they would otherwise not have.

We are at the forefront of this learning and this is why we have developed the National Conflict Resolution In Schools Standards (NCRSS) Accreditation.

We want to ensure all children and schools receive the best standard of learning and support. Schools will receive either a Bronze, Silver or Gold NCRSS award.

We offer comprehensive training for Mediators who would like to get involved in the Peer Mediation movement too. You will gain accreditation of the NCRSS standards and ongoing support and development.
