Two hands holding shapes of people cut out from paper

What sets us apart is our commitment to a collaborative approach. We believe that conflicts are best resolved when all parties are actively involved in the Mediation process. Our mediators act as neutral facilitators, creating a safe space for open and honest communication. We encourage active listening, empathy, and respect, ensuring that all perspectives are heard and understood. We uphold the European Code of Conduct for Mediators and the CMC recommended standards.

We have extensive experience in diverse industries and a deep understanding of the complexities of conflict. With our expertise, we aim to guide parties towards mutually agreeable resolutions, fostering collaboration and strengthening relationships.

Our mediators employ proven techniques and strategies to help parties identify their underlying interests, and needs, explore creative solutions, and reach mutually beneficial agreements.

Confidentiality is of utmost importance. We adhere to strict confidentiality standards, ensuring that all discussions and information shared during the mediation process remain private and secure. Our goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where individuals can openly express their concerns and work towards constructive resolutions.

I am a HR professional with over 22 years of experience in the UK. I became an accredited workplace mediator in 2014 and have a natural ability to help people resolve conflict. I bring a calm and professional demeanour to my mediations and approach each one with impartiality and without pre-judgement. I started my career in the Public sector in South Africa and worked in both the Private and Public sectors. I worked in Public Relations and Marketing and immigrated to the UK with my husband and young family in 1997. I rebuilt my career, initially focussing on project management, but I found my true passion when I moved into a HR role. I worked in different HR functions and undertook my mediation training as part of a HR Consultant role. I love helping people explore options and find solutions, and I strongly believe that the vast majority of conflict can be resolved through mediation which is an effective and powerful tool for defusing interpersonal disputes.

I began my career in the customer service industry, quickly recognising how useful my natural ability to empathise, actively listen and demonstrate care could be in my professional career. I have worked across both the Private and Public sector in a variety of relationship, leadership and coaching roles. My ambition to help and support people led me into my career as a HR professional, where I also met Nina! Experiencing the impact of conflict in the workplace, families and within the wider community really motivated me to look into ways I could make a difference to the people going through it. I decided to become a certified mediator, with a focus on transformative mediation. This way of delivering mediations aligns with my strengths – empathy, engagement, trust and support. I thrive on helping people feel able to move past the conflict and recognise their hidden needs behind it.
